4G Replacement phone

Ten days ago I got an email about Verizon sending a replacement for a 3G phone on my account. I was wondering when it will be sent, and will there be any kind of tracking number assigned to it? There is so much mail theft in the area where I live, that I am afraid it might be stolen. The email said it would automatically activate after 30 days, I just don't want someone else to get it and my phone stop working then.
