$50 Restocking Fee - How to avoid for unopened device

I placed an order for a tablet/laptop online and changed my mind. It’s already shipped but hasn’t been delivered to me yet. 

If I refuse delivery of the package, will the $50 restocking fee be waived? Or if I accept delivery of the package but do not open any boxes and take it straight to UPS with the return label, will this avoid the $50 restocking fee?
