I FILED A CLAIM ON MY IPHONE 13 PRO MAX 512 GB SIERRA BLUE THAT WAS LOST. I UPLOADED THE AFFIDAVIT AND A COPY OF MY ID. I SPOKE TO A REP WHO GOT MY CLAIM REVIEWED AND APPROVED PRETTY QUICKLY. EVERYTHINGS GOING FINE TILL WE GET TO THE PAYMENT METHOD. WE ENTERED MY CARD INFO, AND ASURION SAID MY BANK DECLINED IT; TRIED ANOTHER CARD, DECLINED; WE WENT THROUGH MY ENTIRE WALLET EVERY CARD DECLINED. I GAVE THEM MY ACCOUNT AND ROUTING NUMBER TO DO AN ECHECK, AND CAN YOU GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? YUP DECLINED! I CALLED MY CARDS AND VERIFIED THERE WASNT A BLOCK; EVERY SINGLE COMPANY TOLD ME ASURION WASNT CHARGING MY CARD; THEY WERE DOING AN AUTHORIZATION OF $.00. I CALLED BACK ASURION AND KEPT GOING IN CIRCLES! THEY HAD CANCELED AND RESUBMITTED THE CLAIM MULTIPLE TIMES!!! AND WE ARE STILL GETTING THE SAME ERROR, AND NO ONE KNOWS WHY! I EVEN CHECKED MY CARD BY PAYING MY VERIZON BILL EARLY AND HAD NO ISSUES. I CALLED VERIZON AND WAS TOLD THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING BECAUSE ASURION IS A THIRD PARTY. SO I'VE BEEN PAYING FOR INSURANCE FOR IDK HOW MANY YEARS AND CANT USE IT! VERIZON AND ASURION ARE RIPPING OFF CUSTOMERS BY CHARGING THEM MONTHLY FEES SAYING THEIR DEVICES ARE PROTECTED WITH INSURANCE AND THAT THEY CANT USE IT! I WORK IN A LEVEL II TRAUMA CENTER. I'M PRETTY MUCH ON CALL ALL THE TIME AS I LIVE THE CLOSEST TO THE HOSPITAL AND CAN BE THERE IN MERE MINUTES, SO IT IS DETRIMENTAL THAT I HAVE A PHONE. AFTER THIS, VERIZON IS OFFICIALLY LOSING ME AS A CUSTOMER.
