I just don't understand how service at verizon is so poor. Horrible! If it's the holiday season, then stock up on support. I've been trying to get a number ported for so many hours. Over a 4 day period, I've visited a verizon store twice and spent so many hours to try and get something done. I've been hung up on, transferred to so many different people, just can't take this garbage. I don't think in my 53 years of life that I've ever witnessed something this bad. Can't even text anyone. I even had the automated customer service call me back and that even hung up on me. I just don't get it.....

This isn't stacking boxes in a truck or any other skill-less job you hire temps for. Training alone is 4 - 6 weeks, Verizon isn't going to waste the resources for a temp that costs them more than they'd bring in.
At lot of the hold times could be avoided if people stopped expecting strangers to do the same thing they can do themselves online. Would clear up the queue for people with actual problems.
