Consistently disappointed with how poorly Verizon views their customer. Hucksters offered $450 on a trade towards the purchase of Pixel 4 XL (mistake in it's own right) and when the assessment came back they offered me the princely sum of $12 for my fully operational phone. The entire idea that they would include a Pixel XL on the promotion and then double back on "market price" is predatory and intentionally misleading. Because they farm out the trade in to a second party I am unable to get my perfectly fine phone. Classic bait and switch from a company that can be bothered to give the slightest regard for customer service. I will be going out of my way to tell all who will listen that Verizon is disreputable at best and more likely intentionally swindling their customers with little to no recourse. Off to Reddit, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook I go!
UPDATE: Just got a call from the VZW team letting me know that the decision was being overturned and the full amount of the promotion was being honored
