My wife and i are 70 years old. In about 6 months we will be looking for new cell phones.
We don`t want want to buy a real good smart phone because we think they are good for
the younger people but we don`t need a phone to do everything i think you understand
that. What we need is some input on good phones maybe half smart phone. Thank you

There are several threads on this forum talking about basic phones, pros/cons, done the past couple of months if you want to do a search. Several good ones that come to mind are the LG env3, LG Octane, and Convoy, but they are no longer offered by Verizon and would need to be purchased from somewhere like ebay. The Convoy 2 is working well for us. Unfortunately, the selection of basic phones seems to decline as time goes by.
