I'll leaving on an Alaskan Cruise 8-19-17 and am trying to find understand if my Verizon service will work on the ship? and off the ship? I do have the international plan activated by not sure this is considered international?

Cruise ship usage isn't covered by the International plan. Use the link provided earlier to review the cruise ship rates. Your best bet is to put the phone in airplane mode for the entire trip while you are on the ship. You should also confirm what the wifi cost is for the service provided by the cruise ship and determine if it is worth the cost as well.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
RicFox87, did your phone work on the Alaskan Passage cruise? I'm going on one soon and am wondering if my phone will pick up land towers since we'll be so close to land.
Yes and no. When in Port you can connect to area towers. When at sea no unless you use ships pay per use conection.
Another thing don't rely on phones time or location. My time veried but reset in Port.
My location kept saying I was in Florida?
