Any early termination fee? Probably, depending on how long in your contract remains for a smart phone the ETF is $350 minus $10 for every month of contract completed.

Why do you want to go to AT&T? The reason I ask is to find if the reason is worth all the time it will take to get this done and understand your bills afterwards.
Simple process. Go to the new provider. They port your number from Verizon then all they need from you is your cell number you are porting out, plus the account password.
Verizon will send a final invoice to you in the mail.
