Canceling Service for Mother In Law

My mother in law is 81 years old and deaf as a post. We need to cancel her cell phone because she no longer can remember how to use it (dementia), trying to have her call in to cancel her Verizon cell phone service (which is month to month), would be next to impossible. What can we do?

If you can help her set up an account on My Verizon, you can add account users and then call in to cancel the account, or take her in to a corporate store and take care of it.
