Cancelling one phone of a family plan.

I want to move to a different provider, but I'm not sure how it will work: if I port my phone number to a new provider, will it affect the other two members on my family plan? If I want to move all phones, do we need to do it all at the same time?

Is the line you are looking to port out designated as the account owner?
If you move all the lines it might be better to move them all in one transaction.
Whichever you decide, plan to initiate the port 3 to 5 days before the end of the billing cycle.
