Cell signal degrading over time

We are long time Verizon customers with 4 lines in the suburbs.  We've previously had 4 bars, LTE signal consistently for years.  Recently (past several months), we've noticed that we are 3 bars at best, mostly 2, often 1.  At home we're at 2 bars where it used to be 4.  This is on 4 different phones so it isn't a hardware problem.  Is this signal loading?  Any ideas on how can we troubleshoot this issue?

My husband and I have both noticed that our service has been TONS slower. We usually have great internet service, but since COVID-19 started, we struggle to get good service at all. We are constantly turning our phones on/off to get pages to load. It definitely hasn't been the amazing Verizon service that we are used to.
