Contract Renewal

My family of four has a shared contract (with each person having their own Droid Razr M) Our contract won't be up for renewal until next year, but I have a question.

When it's time to renew, will we have to get new phones, or keep our current ones?

You don't have to get new phones unless you want to; each line's contract will simply go month-to-month.

would it then not have a share everything, such as minutes and data, like it currently does?

Nothing about your plan changes when the contract ends; you are month-to-month, i.e., out of contract.
