DOD Civilian Family moved Overseas with Military

Hello,

My family and I have accepted orders for a position in Germany for the next 3 years and I need to know how I would go about suspending our service.  I am not active duty but work for the US Army as a Federal Civilian and have military orders.

Our orders can be provided.

If I am not wrong primary person who is active duty can do and might require his/her name on account as account manager.

There is a military suspension that you can put on the line for 3 and a half years. I did it for my brother on his account when he and his wife went to Japan in December.

Sosville​,best of luck in Germany. Unfortunately members of the State Department, Diplomats, DOD contracts and other non-military personal are not eligible for military suspension.
