I changed my plan so i wouldnt go over in data.  It was prorated only,  therefore I still was charged for overage costs.

Having overages is no fun Jusdaydreaing88.When a plan change is made online, you get the option to backdate, future date, or make changes on demand. Once you make the choice, we provide you with confirmation of the changes. If you were prorated and charged, the change was made on demand. We can confirm how you made the change to provide you with a detailed explanation. I have sent you a private message to gather some information to go over the change with you.

If you backdated then you wouldn't have gone over and gotten overages.That would only happen if you made the change effective same day.
