I purchased a device activation yesterday its currently pending but on the receipt it says I made a number transfer. Is it literally the same thing?

Based off of the information provided, I would assume that you added an additional line to your account. Which would make sense if your intentions were to add a new Jetpack line. Unfortunately, I cannot access your account through this platform, so I cannot confirm this as a fact. With that being said, I can tell you that a jetpack does need to have it's own line and it's own number in order to connect to our network and function as intended. EstevanC_VZW
