We live in Florida and we got hit with Hurricane Matthew pretty bad where we live but thank God everyone's is ok here. I just got some text message last night from Verizon Wireless stating that due to the Hurricane we have been upgraded to unlimited data from 10/7/16 until 10/11/16 but when I go to the My Verizon app it still shows that I have 8gb of shared data plan it doesn't say unlimited. Does that mean we don't have unlimited data? Or how does that work? I have the text message but I don't want to keep using my data unless I know it's really unlimited.

It is. Any data used after the 8GB will not be reported. If you stay within your plan, that's OK too. If anything doesn't go to plan on your bill, just call customer service and they will reverse any charges.

I just wanted to be sure so I wouldn't use too much data if it wasn't unlimited but you say it is unlimited that's all I needed to know. Thanks
