Is it possible to switch from a regular account with Verizon to Verizon edge??
Verizon Edge is a payment option not a service plan.

As long as you are not under contract, YES if you are credit qualified.
Even if you are under contract, Verizon occasionally offers Early Edge where you can return your current contract phone in good working order in order to enter into an Edge agreement. Unfortunately, the choice of phones available to purchase on Edge would be limited.
