Call and message blocking won’t accept phone numbers I enter to be blocked. I have tried them with and without the area code, (they are both from my area code). I have entered them with and with out a 1 before the area code. I have entered them with and without hyphens, and even tried using periods in place of hyphens. I keep getting “please enter a valid number” ?
How is it you are trying to enter the numbers to be blocked, on the My Verizon web site via desktop/laptop or via the My Verizon app on a phone or device? And, just to confirm, you're using a proper format needed (don't use dashes).
brownbook, I'm sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with blocking a number on My Verizon. We're here to help. Please be sure you are following all the instructions at the link below to complete the block.
Also, as Ann154 mentioned, the numbers cannot be lines that are already on your account. You also can't block Verizon Wireless customer service numbers. Please let us know if you are still having trouble, and we will keep working to help resolve this.
