Fraudulent Verizon Authorized Retailer: GoWireless Libertyville

Dear Verizon,

Yesterday my son showed me a concerning email.  It was a congratulations for a review that he wrote about Libertyville GoWireless.  He however did not write the review.  This is immensely concerning to me as a parent that the security of my children's phones may have been compromised by employees during our trip to an authorized Verizon retailer.  He would never have written a review bashing a corporate store we did not visit.  This is not the only issues that we have had since I purchased my son's phone.  I was told at the store that there was a buy one get one free deal on the droid turbo 2, which was never applied even after being assured it would be taken off the next billing cycle.  It is not my job as a parent to hunt down rogue employees who lie to customers and did not want to spend days on the phone with customer service over what happened.  Any help that Verizon can give me as well as an explanation to why employees would have enough access to my children's account to make fake reviews would be much appreciated.

You will need to contact this company (GO Wireless) as they are a separate company that is not Verizon Wireless and is simply an indirect re-seller.

They are going to be the only ones that would have any info regarding what you describe.

This is also a good example of why I recommend to only visit corporate Verizon Wireless locations and not these indirect locations (examples: GO wireless, Diamond Wireless, Tag Wireless, Best Buy, Costco, Target).

While not all indirect locations have problems or are going to cause issues, the probability is certainly higher, and in most cases these re-sellers are more restrictive in their policies than VZW is (return policy, restocking fees, etc).
