Hi,
If you received an eMail from Verizon telling you about the GPS Rollover problem coming in TWO weeks! Thanks for the advance notice Verizon - you've known about this problem, at least, since April... SHAME ON YOU, Verizon - why did you wait this long to advise customers of this problem?
And, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BUY A NEW PHONE! Again, another, SHAME ON YOU, Verizon! Why are you taking the option on ONLY telling customer to "upgrade" or buy a generic phone? No other suggestions? I called Chat to cancel my Verizon service after all these years, and was advised to call Support and talk to a Level 2 tech - they will help keep my phone in service. Thank you Chat!
My guess is that we can probably do a Google search using our brand of phone, with "GPS Rollover" and we'll probably find a fix! NO! You do NOT HAVE TO BUY A NEW PHONE!
