Gather evidence on robo callers?

#1 How about adding a system code like *69 to report a call as robo?

Elsewhere on the Verizon site they state they are looking for call patterns - wouldn't live feedback like a *99 ("Get lost" in Morse code) help?

*99 during the call as a report/hangup would be best but probably not practical. Could a *99 cause a traceback through spoofed caller IDs?

My guess is they (the dark ones) don't spoof using a new number for every call so a *99 might be able to setup a special trace in real time to catch the next spoof event.

Maybe we could put the call on hold and do a *99? Complicated but eventually there will be enough *99 traces to take action.

#2 - maybe we could conference in a trace tool then hang up?

Or you could use the option to be removed. I select it on all of these calls. Try it. It works. If I am bored, I  just keep saying "Hello" link I can't hear them. They eventually hang up. I don't get these calls. One time I am going to do something I read about and that is to answer and pretend to be a cop and say I am answering the phone at a crime scene and accuse the caller of committing the crime.
