Hello,
I am wanting to transfer my line off of my parent's family share plan into a new account in my name. I am wanting to keep my unlimited data ($29.99) in the process. I have been told by different reps at customer service and in store that it is possible and some say it is not. Does anyone know if this is in fact true and I can keep the unlimted data once it is transferred in to a new account with my name?
Thanks!

Tell them you want to do an assumption of liability. The account owner and yourself will likely need to be present.

They may require you leave the unlimited plan behind, unfortunately. But you wont know until you try.
