How can you contact someone that can troubleshoot your wireless service?

I live in a small rural town where most of us have cell service from verizon, there has always been poor service in certain areas of town so a few years ago verizon put up a tower right on the edge of town and everything was great. In recent months it seems like somthing has gone wrong, people all over town are dropping calls even traveling sales reps and people passing through have complained of dropping calls in town. So we have had everyone we know calling in to try to get this problem figured out but most are told that nothing is wrong. Some people after talking to verizon have purchased a network extender from them that costs $250 and solves the problem in their houses because it connects through the internet. A tech came and inspected our tower and said nothing is wrong yet the service city wide has not improved.

I'm wondering how to contact someone who can actually help us fix this.

jdmettler,

Providing you with superior service is the number one priority here at Verizon Wireless. We are concerned to hear that you are having trouble with your service, but we will definitely look into this matter closer for you. Can you please provide your closest cross streets and zip code for the area? How far away from the area do you have to be before the service improves in the area?

The zip code is 57045.

Cross streets would be:

US Hwy 18 and 431st ave

5th St and W Poplar St

5th St and W Juniper St

Service Improves greatly about 5 miles east or south but further if you go north or west it seems.

We do show that our towers in your area seem to be working as expected with no alarms. Although the towers are functioning properly, that doesn't mean that issues don't exist. Your ability to receive optimal signal will be based on your distance from the cell site, if the site has a clear line of sight to your location that would allow the Radio Frequency (RF) signal to penetrate into your area, terrain and tree foliage (heavier foliage does obstruct RF signal), new construction in the area among other environmental factors.

Are the issue just with your calls? How are the other aspects of your service (text/data)? Are you indoors when you are experiencing this issue at those locations?

Issues with calls and text messages, often times messages are received hours after they were sent, even snapchat gets delayed somtimes when not connected to wifi. Issues are indoors and outdoors although indoors is obviously worse.

Your satisfaction is important to us and we want to get to the bottom of this for the whole community. I have sent your a Private Note so we can obtain additional information from the account and review the network diagnostics.   YaleK_VZW
