How do I get my name to appear when I call?

I would like to have my name appear when I make a call to someone instead of the city I'm from.  How do  I do that?  Does my wirless carrier make that visible or do I have to go to Apple.com for info???

That is correct, Ann! We do offer a service that provides the name you place through your My Verizon so long as the person that you call fulfills certain prerequisites. You can read more about Share Name ID here: http://vz.to/1yoPhSI.

Verizon Wireless has a feature through your MyVerizon account online to share your name. I don't use to recall the exact name or if there is a charge for it.
