I get no VM notifications and now have to dial *86 to listen to my VM instead of just pushing the voicemail icon, how do I remedy this?

Sign into your MyVerizon account online and go to your account features and see if you receiving visual voicemail. If so, go to the Blocks section and see if you can add the Block Visual Voicemail feature to your line. This is change your voicemail to the basic non-visual voicemail. If the block isn't available, then you will need to call customer service at 1-800-922-0204 from a landline or *611 from another VZW phone and request they add the Block Visual Voicemail feature to your line.

It is important that your Voicemail notifications work at all times. I trust we can get this issue resolved. What make/model phone do you have? When did this issue begin?
