I Honestly did not know Verizon was this bad with such poor customer service and no one seems to know what they're doing and you cannot hold anyone accountable and lastly I just have to start looking elsewhere to change my phone provider and Verizon Fios.
I placed an order over the phone with a sales rep on November 19th 2020 for an iPhone 12 Pro Max 256GB White. Brian the sales rep sent me the secured link and I paid for the phone outright and I utilized my verizon device dollar $105 which I paid in total for the phone $1114.99. The next day, I received an email from Verizon saying my order was cancelled because the phone was sold out and I should get a credit within 72hrs. And now 33 days later verizon still has not refunded the money back into my account ( See pictures ).
I spent countless time calling and everyone is giving you a different answer, even supervisors don't know what they're doing ? Verizon should be ashamed of themselves. Is it because of too much bureaucracy of different layers ? And sadly you cannot hold anyone accountable.
I called back today and spoke with a very nasty lady Tania on the phone and as I'm explaining to her what's going on she just put me on hold and I realized that I was on hold a minute into explaining myself to her. Seriously ?
The sad part is even my mobile app is still showing a pending order for the same phone that was cancelled on November 19th. Customer service reached out to Activation & Credit team some lady name Casey tried to help and same thing.
Now my bank charged me a $35 late payment and interest because I have the revolving balance and I spent over 7hrs in total time spent on the phone with verizon and my credit score went down from 614 and I have notes on top of notes on my account and no one seem to be able to fix anything ?
Is there anyone higher up management information I could reach out to let them know how bad this is ? What do I get for wasting my time over verizon's mistake ? Nothing ? what do I do next ?
Would you say it's fair for me to just close all my accounts including verizon fios and move my business elsewhere ? This is pathetic. I'm beyond shocked. Anyone else has this problem ?
Who can actually help ? this is absurd and I hope no one else has to go through this.
I would dispute the payment with the bank and go with another provider true they give different answers to same question and I been on hold by several this month a supervisor who for 8 hours and 2 other
I’m sorry you have to deal with this. I’ve been with verizon since 2012 which is close to a decade but It doesn’t look like I’ll be staying with them after their mismanagement and poor customer service ethic.
Verizon is pretty bad when it comes to refunds. Used the app years ago to pay off a phone. Chose my line, paid it and got a confirmation. Next bill comes and I noticed a phone payment and what I paid for my phone being applied to the bill. After 2 cycles of nothing being done by multiple chat reps, I ended up doing a charge back.
I get the device dollars, but I personally wouldn't bother with those in the future if you're going to buy a phone outright. Better to do that sort of stuff from the manufacturer directly.
It's not right and we shouldn't settle or allow verizon to mistreat its users the way they do. I honestly didn't want to buy the phone from them but the fact that I have Fios and the device dollar worth $105 that was pretty significant. But most likely I will change carrier after all this is resolved and move on. Sadly I don't like at&t and will probably have to settle with T-Mobile
