I just cracked my screen on my iPhone 5 but I want to use my iPad for Verizon messages but it sends a text to my iPhone with a security code that I cannot retrieve because of my cracked screen. Any suggestions?

Thank you for reaching out to us. I am sorry to hear that your device screen shattered. We definitely want you to have options while inbetween devices. Verizon Messages is a great function to take advantage of. It is neccessary to get the pin number in order to activate it on the iPad. Do you have a spare device you can activate for the time being until you replace your iPhone 5? Do you have insurance on the device? It would be best to activate a temporary device until you get a new phone so you can get the code, then you should be able to access the application. Let us know if you need anymore assistance.
