It isn't Motorola v Samsung that I like.  In fact, had Motorola had a newer phone that was as souped up as the droid razr maxx was at the time it was new, I would've stuck with Motorola, as I'm more accustomed to the Motorola GUI, and in it's prime that was a very fast phone with almost as much battery life (even though it is a bigger battery than the samsung).  But instead Google decided, let's have this Moto x BS which is not what I would call a high end smartphone.  Some of Samsung's gui stuff is obnoxious, and I find the way the homescreens are a bit strange.  What I do like is how immensely fast the phone is, I can go about two days before charging, and it does everything I was already doing faster.  I like the updated google maps which can show the satellite layer while navigating (not that it is such a smart idea to actually do that) and shows traffic live in navigation as opposed to just when you do a route preview and constantly shows times for altnerate routes.  I haven't utilized NFC and haven't decided whether I will.

I love my Z10. Every update it gets even better. The Z30 is reported on my BBM as being fantastic. Personally I like to be able to replace my battery and carry an extra charged battery with me. Screen is plenty large. It is the best BlackBerry I've had to date.

I miss Palm too!  I still have my Palm Pre.  Its hooked into my sound system and plays my music in my dinning room. I really want to support Blackberry because I don't want it to go away either.  I just bought a family member a replacement device and didn't want to spend a lot.  Of course I bought a BlackBerry 9930 for $10 and it's perfect.
