I'm not following you.  Are you saying Verizon is not gaining customers?  I'm pretty sure they are.  And, I'm not sure what "outsourced" has to do with anything.  I said they were gaining customers.   I didn't say anything about how their business is structured or where their work force is located.  They could outsource everything, but they are still adding customers as far as I know.  I enjoy a good debate as much as anyone, but your arguments need to make a little bit of sense, please.

The latest report from wireless industry analyst Chetan Sharma notes that Verizon continues to dominate the sector, adding 72% (2.2 million) of the industry's postpaid customers last quarter.

Sure looks bad, really bad for VZW!

they are all liars and its approved by the supervisors, they teach them how to manuver swiftly without getting hung up in thier web of deceite. i can be pissed off as a hornet call them up and  it doesnt matter if its sprint, verizon, whoever because they all have the ability to dodge the pitch coming in. and when i call mad, i actually start to feel sorry for the poor bastard before i even make the call- thats how certain i am about how they are going to be the butt end of my misery and this phone is just the tip of the iceburg. Much to my suprise every single time they get me hanging up usually 2 hours spent on the line trying to fix my every need and the lies just come with there "plans". isnt it strange that they cant ever find any referrence to your phone conversations with other employees that have quoted you this crap that didnt come to life? they NEVER  have an easy "log" that they can reffer to for all your troubles in the past. yeah, there are laws protecting us from this kind of thing, such as misrepresentation, etc etc and i have often entertained the idea of banding a pack of folks who just want to tell them to shove their lian bs up there asses, but then my bubble pops and i am back to reality. as they are still on the phone "searching" with the term "bear with me" becoming all too familiar. whos with me on a long list of things they cant do to us consumers anymore ??? and the red tape that comes with the over zealous soul who can take this just one step further than i can before i wear my negative suit out. ???

same experience for me as well. yesterday offered and promised an early upgrade, 2 hours on phone, picked out phone, told I got $50 off, extend contract 2 years and gave me specific date, then said no, will provide certified phone, when SUZI in CA (PST) went to finalize order she said, Oh I am so sorry, I cannot offer you the upgrade after all. Said her supervisor would call me at 11:30 today. NO CALL.

Tonight I called back and on phone 2 1/2 hours and on hold 48 minutes. After all that, story changed again. Cannot have early upgrade - Oh we were just kidding. I think that is not legal.

We have 3 lines, customers since 2001. I am on other wireless websites. Looking at changing Fios, home telephone and wireless. Verizon just does not care about the customer.

i hope your approach of taking a bit of your own medicine they gave you in PR class. swallow it and then plug your nose if you cant stand the smell of your own **. what he is saying is absolute and the fact that you actually take his opinion and try to belittle it makes me think your not the clown they thought they hired. your far worse. get a clue. get another job where they lie for a living, like politics.

btw, i have sprint and altho they lie too, they would never speak to customers the way you have.

  You are asking them to allow you to upgrade earlier than the early upgrade option that they already give? As it is, your upgrade is available at the 20 month mark of your 24 month contract, how much sooner do you want them to allow?

In response to KenB233. post that has been pulled. I am not belittling anyone. I am offering 3rd party proof, the posting of another is simply incorrect. I forget the exact number but last quarter If you want the FACTS, I will provide them after work from the companies quarterly reports.

I do not work for, never have, never will, for Verizon or Verizon Wireless, or any Wireless company. Just because I offer a differing opinion, does not make me a bad person, just someone who wants the public to come to this site to know the facts, not stuff spewed out of anger because someone wants an early upgrade and cant get it, or lost their unlimited data, or have overages VZW will not credit.

I did not ask. They offered, said they were giving it to me as a resolution to nothing but problems to one of my lines and multiple replacement phones.

  The person you replied to made it sound like they wanted to do an earlier than normal upgrade, and when you said that you had the same experience, it made it sound like you went there to do an earlier than normal upgrade also.
