I want to get rid of voicemail on my verizon wireless iphone

You might not be able to remove it since the voicemail system is handled by Apple not Verizon Wireless.

You will need to call customer service at 1-800-922-0204 from a landline or *611 from another phone and ask them to remove the feature from your line.

I have requested this like a million time and yet I still this feature on my phone. So annoying
