JUST FOR CLARITY Buy your phone and NEVER bother your local store or online customer service about anything.

These are all signs that you are a DIRTBAG CUSTOMER and DESERVE NOTHING more than a nice person to tell you to [removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] OFF since you have an issue after all these years!

You took thousands of my dollars and do not care if I go somewhere else with my business. We get it...your the cell phone giant, and could care less!

Great business model!

Verizon landline and wireless are two separate entities. It seems like it's home services you are having an issue with. If so this is the wrong forum to be on.

The phone will randomly not ring or dial out and lose service. Of course its my fault it's broke, and I should have known that before I called to talk to someone.

Why do you say that it is broken? Is there physical or liquid damage to the device?

I'm a terrible customer, too. Always paid my bills on time for many years and got caught in Verizon's mess this year. I use them for internet only. I live in CA 6 months and AZ 6 months.  Last year, I disconnected my Verizon and went to another state where I use Century Link. Fast, reliable and good customer support.  Verizon hooked me back up again in May with no fees and no questions.  This year when I asked for a temporary disconnect, they  said I was off until May 1, 2016. In Dec, I had to call again. They took me off for another 90 days and told me to verify in the end of 90 days.  Didn't even get that far. Fees here, reps that tried to help, but trouble.  I ended up paying $60/ month for something I don't even use, plus late fees.When I asked about disconnecting in Dec, they told me not too. Too expensive.  Every month some adjustment, another bill.  I just paid $130, for nothing and will have a couple more for nothing bills as far as I can tell.  Evidently I could have disconnected and got my service back again for $40. but nobody could figure that out in the beginning. You can bet I'll be checking for another internet connection when I get home. Verizon certainly stinks in customer service.

call back and ask for disconnect service not suspend if you don't want to keep paying for .

if you wan to keep your number then port to google voice and once its done it be disconnected after port out completed.

if you have any early termination fee or device payment plan after disconnect you be billed for final statement.
