Sorry if this has been asked before but I wanted to know if there is a fee. Last time I tried, I switched between two 4g LTE phones I had and at the end of the switch, it seemed like there was a $30 charge. This was after I got a new phone and so I thought that might have just been that surcharge,but I just wanted to make sure.
Also I was going to try again (but chickened out at the thought of a fee) and when I got to the part about the sim cards, it says I'm switching from a 3G to a 4G device, but my Note 2 is definitely a 4G LTE device. Is this normal? I figure it's just for the sake of putting in the sim card number, but I was just wondering.
There's no fee for switching devices.
The fee you paid previously was likely the upgrade fee which is for getting a new phone at a reduced/subsidized price.
