I am having a HUGE issue with customer service and what was told to me over a "Live Chat" and then when I called to question why I hadn't received what I was supposed to, I got NOWHERE with customer service when I called. After an hour and a half on the phone and speaking to a Supervisor, I was told I would get a call back the next day. When I asked to get what we had discussed and what the Supervisor was "noting to my account", I was told I couldn't get that when calling customer service, only with a Live Chat. But LIVE CHAT told me the wrong thing. And the Supervisor kept telling I had to produce the Chat number so they could look it up. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED, ANGRY AND CAN'T BELIEVE THE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED after being a customer for 23 years. Getting the run-around is putting it mildly!!
Supposedly you can have the chat emailed to you at the end of the chat, but there is no way to get it after the chat window is closed. Screenshots and captures, copy and pasted text that is saved and anything else that is "of record" usually don't aid in the quest to prove being told one thing and another thing happening.
I know all the chats are recorded because otherwise they wouldn't have a chat ID number for every user session. How to actually get ahold of them I have no idea. I know I had requested a chat be emailed to me but I never received it. If a change was to be made to your account then you would have received a notification on myVZW website. The only other thing that you could have done was printed the chat log when you were done with the representative. I can say yelling at any company will not get you anywhere.
