Live in a Senior Village in SJ CA and when electric goes out NO SERVICE!! If there is ever an earthquake or wildfires we cannot be notified nor call for help. We cannot make or receive any phone calls, cannot text etc. This is very concerning since this place has thousands of seniors in the community with no way for us to reach any one! So what is Verizon going to do about this! It will be too late when we have a catastrophe! Does Verizon even care?

We are dedicated to keeping you connected espcially in a time of emergency! Many times backup generators are in place to still allow emergency calls if it were to be dialed in a time of emergency and while showing No Service.

Not True...Phone says call failed. Residents in here all have the same issue. We don't get any emergency notifications what so ever. You should investigate this issue. There is a huge discussion on Nextdoor and a group of us are trying to get Verizon to do something about better cell service here.

AT&T customers don't seem to have an issue. My neighbor can use her phone when electric is out. We all might have to switch and you are talking about A LOT of customers.
