I recently received phone calls from 2 different VZW retail locations informing me of some special promotion for me, because I have been a loyal customer for so many years. The deal that was presented to me was the ability to upgrade my device, get $199 off of the contract price, AND KEEP MY UNLIMITED DATA when agreeing to a 2-year contract. Now, I am as about as big of a skeptic as they come, and if it had been a single location I would have just shrugged it off, but 2 locations within a few days of each other? Now I'm curious. Has anyone else out there been approached with a similar offer? I have the day off tomorrow so I was planning on stopping in a location or 2 to find out directly, but I just wanted to poll the community first.
