I currently have my own account with Verizon, but am looking to join with my boyfriend who also has a Verizon account. Can we combine our separate plans into a family plan?
You should be able to do so. The only problem I may see is if both of the lines are currently in an Edge agreement. You can't transfer ownership of the Edge agreement to another person.
Could I find out on my online account overview if I'm in an edge agreement or would I need to go to the store/phone customer service to find this info out?
If you don't know whether or not you are on an Edge agreement, you most likely are NOT on one.
An Edge agreement is a purchasing option where you pay full price for a phone and spread the payments out over 20 months(used to be 24 months). If you are not making monthly payments on your phone, you are not in an Edge agreement.
Regardless, I would assume you can check in your MyVerizon account if you are in an Edge agreement.
