I have been working in a location that does not have cell phone service for the past two weeks. When I got back to an area that had service I never received the text messages that people had told me they sent to me. Does this have something to do with Verizon deleting the stored messages after a certain amount of time? Any suggestions on how to get them back?
Thanks!

From Verizon's text message FAQs:
- If I have my device turned off, will I still receive text messages? We will attempt to deliver the message when your device is powered on and you're in the our National Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Area. If the device is powered off or you have traveled outside of the our network, you message will be stored for later delivery. The network will attempt to deliver the message for five days (120 hours) from the date of our receipt of the message. Messages not delivered within five days will be automatically deleted.
