Misdirection

Periodically, I use the promotional tool Verizon puts online to see when FiOS might be available in my area.  The dialog asks me to identify my address, in two steps.  In the second step I identify myself as a current Verizon (residential) customer (I have 3 residential lines at my home).  I am then immediately directed to the Verizon Wireless website (here I am!), no doubt in part because I'm a Verizon Wireless customer, too.  At this website, I'm told the conversation is nothing to do with residential services or with FiOS.  OK, fair enough, I'm now on the wrong website.  So, I try to go to the Residential website, and each time I try to log in I'm shunted back to Verizon Wireless.  Here are my questions: (1) If Verizon Wireless is nothing to do with FiOS, then why does merely indicating my residential address shunt me to the Verizon Wireless website?  (2) Why is Verizon offering to make information about FiOS availability available to me, only to shunt me to my Verizon Wireless service information?  (3) Why does Verizon Wireless tolerate this treatment of its customers by the Residential side of the business?  (4) Who designed this website equivalent of "voicemail hell" and when will they have it fixed?

All of these are questions best suited for the Verizon residential services site.

Wdanner, I understand how this all can frustrating to you. I do agree with supmankalel that this is an inquiry for the Residential site. You can also reach out to them directly here >> http://bit.ly/1UT4ruB  or here  >> http://vz.to/1UEyKBW
