Mobile Hotspot

I want to let everyone know to be careful to check on what features you retain and lose when changing plans.  A few months ago, I upgraded my plan from an 8gb data plan to unlimited data.  It costs more, and it gives me more.  So it never occurred to me that I would lose the mobile hotspot feature for me phone by upgrading.  It was standard with my 8gb plan, but, on unlimited, Verizon wants an extra $10 a month to add the same feature.  Very disappointing.  When I contacted Verizon, they offered me mobile hotspot for two months with no charge.  In hindsight, I should have asked about it when I changed plans, but mobile hotspot had always been such a standard feature for years that I didn't even conceive that Verizon would treat it like that.  Or treat me like that.
