My number from Ultra mobile has been ported out to Verizon without my consent. How can that happen?

I got my new ULTRA number on Feb 2nd and on Feb 24 my number stopped working because it was ported out to Verizon.

Since then my sim card does not work.

Is there a plausible explanation regarding how something like that can happen?

Thanks

Hello giangu
I would be happy to look into any issues. I'm sorry your having difficultys with the Sim Card. What device do you have? Do you currently have VZW service? What error are you seeing.

I look forward to your response and getting this addressed.

I'm not following your problem here. Did you purchase an Ultra from Verizon or another provider? Did you initiate a port to Verizon when you made the purchase? You have waited more than a month without a working phone before looking into this?

Hi,

thanks for your reply.

This is what happened. I bought a sim card from Ultra Mobile (www.ultra.me)

on Feb 2 and I got a plan with them.

On Feb 22 I lost service and I found out people who called me were reaching

someone else.

I did not ask for any porting, it just happened  and it took me about a

month to find out from Ultra.

My number was (removed)

I am just concerned that this could happen again and anybody could port out

my number again.

Thanks

Gianluca
