i used to have good signal at my house but over the past few months my signal has become pretty much nonexistent! I've spent hours on the phone (the landline I've had to purchase because of this) with verizon with absolutely no answers or solutions! How do we go from having good signal to none at all?! i want answers and i want this fixed! Now!

I am in the same boat. My cell phone has become unusable at my house, and pretty much when I enter my neighborhood. This is not just me either, as other verizon users struggle with coverage in this very specific area. Go about a quarter mile in each direction and service is fine.
Talked to Verizon, but they say there is no issue or buy a repeater.
Frustrating to the point I may have to change carriers.

I have no problem anywhere in my cite (Floresville, TX) -BUT my mother is using one of my phones and lives in an apartment
in this same town and the signal is so small that we are seriously thinking of cancelling with Verizon. My account is ready for upgrade and the sales agent suggested a Booster . He even came out to the apartment and saw that the signal bars disappeared! So, I suppose I have to pay for a Booster? That means my monthly bill will be hire.
Where as At&T signal is just fine at the apartment complex/ I can't get an answer from Verizon either!
I called twice to speak to someone about how much a booster will cost me and am put on HOLD!
Ugh.
I hope Verizon will read their forums; otherwise, I may go with AT&T .

Hello? Can you hear me now?
Hello? This is what we go through at
Tenth Street in Floresville, Tx.
SIgnal is Gone most of the time. Which means that my mother can not depend on the Verizon cell phone I have for her, so I need to get her a better signal phone.

If you are in a service area with bad coverage, a network extender may be your only option. It's $249.99, but it's only a one time payment to purchase the device. [ Samsung Network Extender SCS 2U01 | Verizon Wireless - Verizon Wireless ] That said, it does require a broadband connection from your ISP.

same here no signal and live 2 blocks from downtown Escondido, which is the second largest city in San Diego County.
The geniuses at VZ tell me it's an indoor problem so nothing they can do. Meanwhile every other person in the building who has another carrier has no problem.
I dropped our landline since Cox priced us out of service so now we pretty much have no phone service.
My wife tried to call me at work today to tell me she got attacked by 2 dogs when she was walking ours but I had to wait until I got home to find out since she finally gave up after 5 dropped calls.
Forget the extender since the internet went with Cox. I would just like to be let out of my agreement so I can go with someone else.

I am having the same issue as of late with both of my Verizon cell phones. I've been with Verizon and at the same address for the last 11 years and, while my signal has never been spectacular, it has gone really downhill in the past several months. I used to never have dropped calls. Now it's a daily occurrence. WHERE'S ALL THIS PROMISED COVERAGE THAT"S SO BETTER THAN THE REST?!
