Hi to all here. My first post on this forum is a plea for some advice. I do not have a smartphone, but my old phone is wearing out and I need to upgrade. I am in a Verizon contract. When I look at all the phones available I get very confused: samsung, motorola, apple, htc, LG 
Here are my needs:
1. I do all my communicating with my job via email. So obviously email is something I want to work well on this new phone. I want to be able to open pdf attachments and word attachments. I need to be able to sync with my outlook emails
2. I will be doing some reading on this phone. Bible, newspapers, and maybe a book or two, but not for long periods of time. It will not take the place of an e-reader.
3. All the fancy camera stuff, video stuff. That will rarely get used.
4. Occasional web browsing.
5. Something that does not cost an arm and a leg.
All the entertainment features are not real important to me. Any suggestions? thanks
