I’ve been with AT&T for a few months as I was moving to Vermont and T-Mobile has no service in my new hometown of Woodford and Bennington Vermont.
Then I find out after living in the town AT&Ts service was not so good and non-existent at my home.
With very unreliable Wi-Fi calling.
So I figured I would try Verizon.
I go to my local Verizon Store Jand ask to set up a spare work phone I have.
After taking my info we come to find my work phone will not work on Verizon.
I Go down to the store again on July 15thand ask to open a cheap 15 dollar 1 gig plan for my iPad mini.
All said and done I left a little while later iPad in hand and a new Verizon account.
IPad got great reception at work and at home though on the slower 1x network. But I had service at home with Verizon.
I went to the store the following day July 16thto add my iPhone and watch
But wait Verizon need me to send them all kinds of paperwork to prove it is me
Ok after a little bit of concern. I go home and send my registration electric bill and mortgage as per guy at counter
Next day july 17thI go in and try again and get told nope credit app not approved.
They need more info I send them my license now.
All good after hours on hold and waiting in store with a porting issue I get my phone back on Verizon’s network.
Next day July 18thmy phone stops working I can’t make calls. I call Verizon and am on hold for over 20 min. I check my account online to find its been disconnected!
I can’t make calls get calls send or receive texts.
Why the suspect Fraud.
Why? Because the guy at the store submitted over 10 applications!
So, I give the fraud department my reference numbers for the documents I had already sent
The turn my service e back on after over an hour and a half on the phone with them.
Phone works again account back online.
20 min later phone stops working again.
Now the phone is suspended and can’t be re enabled for 24 hours
So, a new customer with my own phone and my own number held hostage for your employee mistakes.
I’m left on hold for hours and transferred to departments that can’t help and they transfer me to other departments that also can’t help!
I am locked out of countess accounts for both work and personal as I can’t get my 2 factor auth codes
I’m was a new customer that has been treated unfairly and Verizon has taken my number and my device from me.
