TO tell the truth, I find a newer plan very unsettling. I like the plan I have and don't want to change. I pay less for more. The new plan seems simple enough, but already there is a lack of proper information trickling down. I'm trying to be patient and keep my eyes and ears open.
GZRX - You can keep your old plan. When your contract is up, the line fee would be $20 on the new plan (the $40 is only while paying off the phone).
So changed over my two plans 2GB and 1GB utt, for the large Verizon plan. So now with $40 each access fees for two smart phones, and tax I pay $1 less a month for twice the data. My upgrade date remains the same as though I was still on the 2 year contract which is a bummer but acceptable for now.
My only disappointment is the flat $20 rate connection charge. This adds up with multiple lines.
All carriers charge a connection charge for each line. If you are on a plan with a lower price per line, keep it as long as you can. My lines have a $15 per line fee, and I will keep it as long as possible.
We are at $15 per line as well. Any change to the plan will bump us to $20
