When we have a power outage, we lose cell service, everytime. No calls, text, internet. We are literally and truly in the dark communication wise. It seems that not all neighbors do, so is there a setting I need to change? Please advise.
Reliable service is a must and we are here to help. It is possible that neighbors in the area are connecting to a different tower when there is an outage. Have you tried turning the device OFF and ON to see if the phone connects to a different tower, possibly one that is not affected by the outage? ~Vic
Currently in a power outage using iPhone 13 pro max/max pro? I have done the following steps:
1. Turned of my phone off and then back on (seemed logical…. Didn’t work)
2. reset my phone ( again seemed logical… didn’t work)
3. checked my setting in cellular (I mean why not at this point)
4. prayed the the technology gods because I just want to report MY power being out because I don’t think my other 965 others neighbors will.
My Verizon technology specialist, please help me! I’m just a simple person who pays way to much for the “best 5G network” trying to report and power outage and maybe Netflix and chill in the mean time.
