Like many other parents, I am a mother of a child whose school is now closed due to Covid 19. Our schools are doing the best they can to continue the education, which has led to online learning and classes. This puts myself, as a single parent, in a horrible spot, when I am only able to (barely) afford a limited data plan. So I called Verizon for help, explaining that I am asking for help for my child to continue learning. Verizon's answer to me????? Well, it was to MORE than double my bill with them. Not only cannot not afford to double my bill on any regular day, but ESPECIALLY NOW!!! I was asking for temporary help for my child to continue learning and to keep up with school work - NOT for movies and games and videos. I am SO disgusted with Verizon. When I find a solution and some help with this problem, I will be DONE with money hungry heartless Verizon.
