ONEPLUS 8 wifi calling

We have a Oneplus 8. We bought it direct from Oneplus. How does one activated wifi calling? 

I was told that something was being done about it by Verizon last year, still nothing.

SIM unlocked phones purchased from the manufacturer may not be able to utilize Wi-Fi calling on the Verizon Wireless network. The Wi-Fi calling feature is an exclusive option for Verizon Wireless branded phones.
