Arizona doesn't participate in Daylight Saving Time. (We already have more than enough sunlight in the summer, thanks anyway!)
If your Verizon phone is set to use automatic, network-provided time zones, you will get mountain daylight time starting next week. You may have already noticed weirdness in your calendar appointments. And if you've got an alarm set for Sunday morning, it will go off at the wrong time.
Go into your settings now and change the time zone to manual, GMT-7 Phoenix
(in Android this is under Settings -> System -> Date & time ... )

What if you live in Arizona and you actually want to travel out of state? Then you have to take the time to reset your timezone back to network time every time?
Can Verizon seriously not figure this out?!!!

It takes less time to change back to automatic than it does to complain about it.

AZRik, we don't want you to have to manually adjust your settings each time you travel. Please tell us, are you currently traveling? What time zone is your device in at this moment?
