I paid my bill on the day it was due via the Verizon Wireless app. Due to being a new customer, it took me a little while to set up my account info, payment account info, etc., so the payment was made later in the evening but still before 11:59pm on the day it was due. However, it said that the payment won't be posted till the following day. What time do payments have to be made by so they still count as being paid on time? Also, will I be charged a late fee? Is there some sort of grace period before late fees are applied (i.e. 5 hrs)? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
You'll be fine, they give you a few days before a late fee is charged.
