I got a questions about the phone numbers.
Am I able to unlock my phone number, so I can keep the same number when I go to a different phone service?
and if so does it cost anything to unlock the numbers?
Thanks.

You can port your number to another carrier. There is no unlocking involved.
Please clarify what you are trying to do.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Sorry for the late reply, but I'm gonna be changing carriers for my cell phone and the other cell phone that is on my family plan and I wasn't sure if my number and the other number were locked or not. I wasn't sure if there was a fee for unlocking numbers.

It has nothing to do with being locked or not. Contact your new carrier and tell them you want your Verizon number ported to your new phone when you order your new account. They will take care of the details. They will charge a fee of $30 per line, I believe. I guess it depends on who it is.
